Motor racing has long been a source of engineering innovation, generating breakthroughs in performance and safety that have transformed automotive technology and the internal combustion engine. Concerns over climate change and air quality are now changing the face of modern motor racing, with electric and hybrid powertrains at the forefront of vehicle performance improvements and at the same time, forcing the pace of innovation in electric and electronic engineering and in particular wireless power. Drayson Technologies, in collaboration with the Dept of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Imperial College are pioneers and record holders in the exciting fields of wireless energy and electric racing.
