Massive-MIMO is a strong contender for 5G standards. This talk describes the milli-metric band massive MIMO and it’s potential for increasing spectral efficiency. We discuss the basics propagation, shadowing, cell size, deployment, hand over, PHY and MAC issues that underlie this technology.
