If you have a question about this talk, please contact Joan P O'Brien. This talk aims to briefly present three of the main problems investigated in the Laboratory of Signal Processing for Communications (DSPCom), at University of Campinas (UNICAMP), in the last two decades – channel equalization, source separation and brain-computer interface -, with focus on unsupervised techniques, as well as to share some provocative ideas for future research in these fields exploring machine learning approaches. Bio: Levy Boccato received the titles of Computer Engineer (2008), Master in Electrical Engineering (2010) and Doctor in Electrical Engineering (2013), all from the University of Campinas (UNICAMP), Brazil. Currently, he is an Assistant Professor at the same university. His main research interests include computational intelligence, adaptive filtering, machine learning and signal processing.
