In this talk I will give an overview of recent research which utilizes modern tools from nonlinear robust stability to approach the longstanding problem of robustness in adaptive control theory. The talk will be illustrated with examples of both classical `smooth’ adaptive controllers and those from the multiple model approach. This talk is part of the Control and Power Seminars series.
