If you have a question about this talk, please contact Cong Ling. Physical layer security (PLS) can exploit transmission channels for secure transmissions with some interesting features. One of them is the possibility of secure transmissions without shared secret keys under certain conditions. Another important feature is its applicability as a supplement to lightweight cryptography in order to improve improve the security. In this talk, we focus on this feature and discuss the application to wireless sensor networks (WSNs) and the Internet of Things (IoT) for secure transmissions by limited devices/sensors.
