In this tutorial we will build a complete hardware/software image processing application from start to finish on a Zynq SoC platform from Xilinx.

It aims to cover the following topics:

  • Getting Linux to boot on the Zynq’s processing system.
  • Generating an Image processing IP core within VivadoHLS.
  • Using AXI to connect the generated IP Core with the Zynq processing system.
  • Interfacing OpenCV code with VivadoHLS IP Core

All the tutorial files used this talk will be made available on the CAS file server. This includes a full Ubuntu SD card image tailored for Zynq, and an example project.

This talk is part of the CAS Talks series.
