Quantify the UnstableAdd to your list(s) Download to your calendar using vCal
If you have a question about this talk, please contact s.evangelou. The Mahler measure, a notion often appearing in the number theory and dynamic system literature, provides a way to quantify the instability in a linear discrete-time system. We will justify this use of Mahler measure in several ways: (1) difficulty in stabilization; (2) minimum channel capacity in networked stabilization; (3) minimum channel capacity in networked estimation; (4) output feedback networked stabilization.
