The Maurice Hancock Laboratory provides facilities that enable our students and researchers to explore how smarter forms of control and coordination will enable the energy systems of the future to match low-carbon energy generation to the needs of consumer. The laboratory is named in honour of the late Maurice Hancock, a former member of staff who made a bequest to Imperial College to support education. Fitting out of the laboratory has also been generously supported by E.ON and EDF Energy.
