If you have a question about this talk, please contact George A Constantinides.

David Kearney has been visiting CAS for a few weeks, and to finish off his visit will give a an overview of membrane computing, followed by a round-table discussion of “high-level” computation (or anything we want to talk about).

Membrane computing is a form of computation modelled on chemical reactions, which naturally allows for a huge amount of parallelism. David will talk about how his group has developed a compiler for converting membrane computing problems to FPGA architectures.

This talk is part of the CAS Talks series.
