Dr. Andrew Barber who handles Intellectual Property patenting and commercialisation on behalf of Imperial Innovations will be giving a brief summary of how to recognise valuable academic inventions and how these can be protected and commercialised for monetary returns to the inventors. Andrew has been working in this field for many years and has commercialised projects from many universities and been involved with the creation of a number of new companies based on academic research and inventions.
