If you have a question about this talk, please contact Wiesia R Hsissen. Sensing is crucial in applications such as the Internet of Things (IoT), automotive, etc. In biomedical applications, on-body and in-body sensing are essential to realize the promises of improved, personalized healthcare. Extreme miniaturization and ultra-low power consumption in combination with the desired accuracy levels, low cost and absolute robustness are main requirements for these sensors and their readout circuits. This can only be achieved by adopting innovative circuit architectures in combination with advanced technologies. This presentation will describe the state of the art of time-based sensor readout solutions, which have the benefits of ultra-small area and good technology scalability. This will be demonstrated with several practical IC design examples. This talk is part of the Featured talks series. This talk is included in these lists:Note that ex-directory lists are not shown. |
